HEADBAND PROJECT

I'm finally back.
I've been meaning to post this topic few weeks ago, but I've been kind of busy (I swear that will never happen again - though it probably will:)).

Ok. So let's get to the point. You've probably already seen the type of headband I'm about to talk about. I, however, couldn't find anything similar at shops in my city, thus, I decided to make one myself. Single-handedly. If you ever knew me, you would know that me and crafts is quite an undertaking:)

Let the workshop begins;)

1. First you will need a photo-inspiration. Mine is Stephanie Pratt in one of The Hills episodes:

2. Prepare whatever you want to use for making your personalized headband.
My suggestions are:
- lots of crystals (my headband has approx.20 pieces) of whatever color, though I choose
white/silver cause they seem most universal and classy
- a headband, either plastic or elastic (now I'm rhyming) one. I decided to use the basic elastic
one in black from h&m
- then you'll need a piece of thick felt fabric to which you will glue/stich the crystals
- obviously needle/ thread/ glue
- scissors

3. Cut out an oval shape out of the felt. You either stich or glue (or both) the crystals onto it.
Then you stitch the felt fabric with crystals attached to the headband (if you've chosen to
use the elastic headband)

And that's basically it! Couldn't be more simple.

Have fun making your own stylish headband. Don't hesitate to personalize it using for instance some funny buttons instead of crystals.
